![]() This can be altered from,: /etc/apparmor.d/Īnd /etc/apparmor.d/local/ The policy that governs mysql is loaded from this location /usr/sbin/mysqld which you can see when you run: sudo aa-status. Now based on the link you provided and another resource about the relationship between AppArmor and Mysql I was able to get it to work. Now also change the ownership of the next subdir to your user! sudo chown -R user:group /var/lib/plexmediaserver Process: 2779 ExecStartPre=/bin/sh -c /usr/bin/test -d "$"'ĮxecStart=/bin/sh -c '/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex\ Media\ Server' Process: 2784 ExecStart=/bin/sh -c /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex\ Media\ Server (code=exited, status=139) Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/rvice enabled vendor preset: enabled)ĭrop-In: /etc/systemd/system/Īctive: inactive (dead) (Result: exit-code) since lun. See "systemctl status rvice" and "journalctl -xe" for $ systemctl status rvice Job for rvice failed because the control process exited with error code. I've tried, with the debian source or with the deb. It's doesn't seem to work in 16.04 (because systemd ?). In Ubuntu 14.04, I could edit /etc/default/plexmediaserver so that it would be run by me. I believe It's a permission issue because plexmediaserver is run by 'plex' user. I can install it but it can't see my files.
